SAVVY is an award-winning theatre company, creating unique and accessible theatre experiences in Croydon and the surrounding areas. SAVVY’s mission is to create ambitious, inclusive productions with community casts and actively work at bringing different groups of people together.

The company was founded on principles of diversity and inclusiveness where everyone is welcome to become part of the SAVVY family regardless of their age, their ability or disability, their advantage or disadvantage. There are no auditions required to be part of the SAVVY Theatre Company, however, the company aspires to ambitious levels of professionalism in its practice, working with high calibre artists to deliver its work.

SAVVY a resident company at Fairfield Halls, with its own studio space, supporting a six-day-a-week participatory arts programme.

Since its inception in 2007 Sheree has been responsible for both the artistic and strategic development of the organisation, taking it from a one-day a week after-school drama group with one facilitator, to a thriving participatory arts company with its own studio space and an ever-growing core team.

In addition to creative delivery, Sheree has been acting as the company's Executive Director and is highly skilled at strategic development, policy writing, marketing and fundraising.  

 

The company is currently working towards becoming a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) with Arts Council England in 2022.
