Writer

Sheree has written numerous original scripts and adaptations for the theatre.  She has created a multitude of teacher handbooks and student resources, and is the author of several books on applied theatre and inclusive practise.

For many years she worked for Mousetrap Theatre Projects, creating teacher handbooks and accessible resources for the West End.

Most recently she has written and directed adaptations of Grimms Fairy Tales, Treasure Island, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Alice In Wonderland and As You Like It.

 

In 2017 she wrote The Spy Project, an original site-specific, 'secret-theatre' piece that took audiences on a secret journey throughout Croydon's town centre.

In 2001 she wrote her first one-woman show Don't Look So Worried.  After selling-out on the London preview night, the show continued to sell out during its two month tour of the North American Fringe circuit.

Sheree currently writes a blog, entitled 'What A Drama' which are "The thoughts and ramblings of a theatre director and facilitator, who is passionate about the power and importance of grassroots organisations."
